A Strong Foundation of Learning
Welcome
The main goal of our pre-kindergarten program is to help each child acquire a foundation and a love for learning that will carry him or her through a lifetime in God’s world. The curriculum has been established to develop the whole child. The children will be assisted in developing the ability to interact effectively with one another and to learn new skills through the use of music, dance, art, science, drama, and play.
We recognize the importance of reading and math readiness skills and have developed age-appropriate lessons and activities to introduce and develop these new skills. Station Imagination uses the Maryland Model for School Readiness (MMSR) Guidelines, and Maryland State Department of Education approved curricula, supplemented by other supporting material and teacher created curricula. Lessons will be adapted for children with special needs based upon written IEP & IFSP information to the best of our ability. Station Imagination offers several age-appropriate full time and part-time programs.
